!USBinfo - a free USB viewer

!USBinfo is part of the !HID application suite, but is also available separately as a free package from our website. It provides a simple and intuitive way to explore the USB system in your computer by presenting complex data in a graphical manner. New devices will appear automatically in !USBinfo and useful information can be extracted from each device. Full details of !USBinfo can be found in its help files. The image show an example of the Topology window in !USBinfo, where a presentation device, a so called PowerPointer, is highlighted.

Hot linking

If you have !HID and !USBinfo running simultaneously, some level of hot-linking is possible between the two. If you select a line in the Keyboard window, which shows a DeviceID, the device will be highlighted in the !USBinfo windows. When grabbing a key in the Edit key window the device will be highlighted as soon as a key is pressed. If the Monitor window is open, all special keys pressed will cause the releated device to be highlighted.
